Search Engines

Aside from the visual aspect of recreating your pages, here is a fact you may not be aware of. The proprietary technology used by the former provider of LEAPLink services was not search engine friendly.

There are a couple of things working against the way a search engine finds these older sites. First, the sites were bulit in Frames technology which means when you are looking at 1 page, you are actually looking at 4 compiled pages to create the look of 1 page. This method does not help Search Engines find your site.

Secondly, the software used by the former provider created a question mark in the address, the search engines could not get past it to read what was on your pages.

Recreating your pages in a standard language, makes it easy for the search engines to find your pages and the result is your clients find you.
